   This is extraordinarily stupid.  Service packs are part of the =
product lifecycle and planned for before the original product ships.  = The
foolish author may as well point out that Microsoft was planning for = the
first service pack several years before the product shipped.  As for = what
to include, seeking input from users is an important part of the = process.
 Maybe the author has lived in a cave for the past 20 years and = has no
experience with shipping software.
