No. Microsoft has provided an outbound firewall in various forms for =
years. Windows Live OneCare and Windows Vista both provide a consumer =
level one. Windows Vista provides enterprise level features as well in =
the same firewall. Still, except for anal folks like some of those = here,
most people don't really use these at least not how described = here.
We discussed the OneCare outbound filtering in detail earlier. You =
can go back and look it up. I'm sure you put it out of your mind = because
you prefer to believe what you want to.
I wouldn't trust any outbound filtering for malware on an infected =
machine. The infected machine enforces what to allow or not and since =
the machine is infected you can't trust it. I could trust one to =
implement policy for non-malicious applications.
Your repeated phone home noise is as boring as it is bogus. Find =
something interesting and relevant to say instead.

Exactly, why do we need an outbound firewall when we have the built in =
10=20
baby per second law MS has forced on vista users.. Lets software phone =
home=20
and keeps the baby count down, the perfect solution to a nonexistent=20
requirement.

It isn't birth control methods being rated as it ignores how the =
firewall=20
protects against incoming traffic, the primary purpose for which most =
people=20
want and use a firewall. The ratings here are those for once =
pregnant, how=20
well do you keep the baby from escaping.

I have to enable cookies to view their firewall ratings? This is =
sort of

you can
see how we rate birth control methods..
