no, it is nothing like that... it is something to do with when the peer
requester fires up after installing a MPTS (IIRC) fixpack... it also looks
like i can't back out of it as the install didn't set an archive or backup
point...

more specifically, i get a trap d, error in device driver IFNET$... it
looks like i'll have to install "security/2" and
"samba" to get it back operational... i seem to have "gone
too far" if you know what i mean :(

yes, i remember... but this is a bit deeper and has to do with something in
the networking on this box :(
