I know that. You might care to note the discussion centered around
handling a generic boot sector infector - not a specific problem had
by a user. If I advise people to use FDISK/MBR, I tell them the
conditions under which they can do it safely. In this post, though,
the point was FDISK/MBR could be used INSTEAD OF formatting the disk,
which was the ONLY alternative advocated by the other poster.
