Not a lot to say, except the "interface program" would basically "walk"
through a web BBS and download/post messages as though it were a real
user. Incoming messages would be text files, which can be easily shoved
into something GIGO, outgoing messages would be queued, ready for auto
posting. The s/w would have to keep track of where it's been before, of
course.
If the web BBS is your own, you could arrange for a site to host it, and
update it daily via a simple, automated PPP session. :-)
