i work with ini, same as in vernsix lib, really nice and powerfull.

i'm working with a Northstern pabx, its a great machine ( voice mail 
integrated)  and no reset, in a few month i will get a card permetting to 
send asci text to be transformed in voice, really great for messages.

also, do you interface with fidelio software( front office software)
i dont have paytv in the hotel perhaps in one year about keycard its great 
but first i managed room status / minibar / chek in / out / SDA lines. 
about pabx / other serial connection, i use Telepathy, its a great library.
what lib  do you use for serial link .
i'm trying to work with Faxual lib to pick reservations from the cardex, then 
fax the confirmation to a queue. ( i dont like rip / graphics :-(( )
