Completely true, some UUCPInternet gateways for BBS's to receive e-mail,
cost 0.02 cents per message, which addes up to about $20 for 1000 messages.
Quite alot if you/BBS users receive alot of spam.
Local UUCP providers to me, also charge for bounced mail to and from the BBS,
which is a big rip-off.
