Here is the explanation for all the carrying on done over breast
cancer, including the fun runs, the awareness weeks, pink ribbons,
taxpayer-subsidized exams, and so on.  The Girlstapo could help more
women through heart-disease awareness campaigns, but they would
inadvertently be helping many more men than women, and they just
couldn't accept that.  Breast cancer offers them a way to help women
_without_ helping men.
