Okay, I've gotten the image from a couple of others through direct e-mail. =
 Thanks Jason and Qevan!

Anyway, the fact that an inhabited planet has rings doesn't naturally imply=
that it is a young system,
since the rings could be the remains of a moon that got too close and broke=
 up.

Anyway...

"Welcome to the Titanius Prime Resort!"

Hiroshi Thorpe and his companion, Midori Yushin, disembarked from the ramp
= of their landing craft
and stared over the flat tarmac that surrounded the massive structure. On
= the outside, the
alien structure looked cold and desolate, with gray metal reflecting poorly=
 in the dimmed sunshine.
The massive pillars and the tiny points of light did only one thing, to
sug= gest mass and size with
a hint of opulence.

Midori said, "I've heard about this place, but never thought I'd ever
get h= ere."

"Good things?" Hiroshi asked, as he took his companion's hand.
They walked=
 across the tarmac,
gawking upwards at the looming structure. Midori just laughed.
"Consideri= ng how much they charge
for a stay here, they had better be good things." He smiled at the woman. =
 "Of course, you deserve
it."

Yushin, a biologist by trade on the Koruth, looked at the massive dome on
t= op of the Titanius resort.
According to the brochures, it had one of the most extensive and exotic
gar= dens in the Federation.
"I'm so looking forward to this," the woman said.

Smiling, Hiroshi said, "So am I. Up in the gardens... you know what
is goi= ng to happen?"

"Of course. I'll see the yakebakekhushiba flower bloom. This is the
only = specimen of this Delta-
Quadrant flower in the Federation, and was brought back a century ago by an=
 Odonan who
accidentally stepped on a seed and brought it back to his ship. It blooms
= once every decade or
so, and it's supposed to bloom within the next couple of days. The colours=
, the patterns, are
incredible, almost indescribable."

Hiroshi was surprised. "Wait," he said, as the couple stopped.
The deep h= um of another landing
craft passing overhead startled them. "You brought me halfway across
the F= ederation, recommending
this place, so that you could see some stinking flower?"

More softly, Midori replied, "Okay, so it is one of the stinkiest
flowers i= n the Federation..."

Hiroshi had the feeling the ring was not going to leave his pocket tonight.
