Was there any mention of what happened to him in the post-DS9 novels, which
seem to be forming a continuity of their own (I haven't had the chance to

On the other hand, this is not an issue in Steve-Trek.  Since the
transport= er malfunction
that produced Tim Riker is impossible according to the rules of Steve-Trek,=
 he never
existed and the episode that he appeared in never happened.
