| subject: | Max on debian |
> Hello All, Hi Alan, > I haven t been able to build max on debian lately. > I just upgraded to testing and did a apt-get dist-upgrade > and now I can build Max again. > There must be some difference in the gcc version or ?? > Anyway I m able to build Max again (Bo, you can dis- > regard my last msg about building Max on debian). Could you please describe me the problem? BTW I ll gladly fix problems with Maximus, but not develop actively on it anymore, because I m working on my FidoSQL suite, which should have a BBS system too in some time. If you want to hear my reasons they are here, It bothers me, that I can t do things UNIX only, and I m tierd of binary datastructures which can be used, in some programming languages, like C or Pascal, It s not the UNIX style. Nearly every populear programming language under UNIX has access to SQL. Just my five cents. :) Bo --- AlphaEd/GTK/Linux 0.01* Origin: (2:236/100.0) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 237/9 20/11 106/1 2000 633/267 |
