I am not real sure about the software/hardware, but I saw an article
about it in Monitoring Times, but I decided the price was to high for
me, so I did not read any further.
I am a casual scanner user, I mainly use mine to monitor the Airplanes,
Trains, Local Transportation, and Police. I also like to use it to
monitor the VHF/UHF ham bands when talking on a frequency but wanting to
make use of another frequency at times.
I have only about 200 frequencies stored. I use to have the PRO-2006;
however; I did not like it as much as the PRO-2035, since I could not
get in between channels being listened to the way I can with the
PRO-2035 using the Tune feature.
Itraded the PRO-2006 for some ham gear I wanted at the time.
