Experimenting with cams is fairly hard core.  To be honest, I'd go to a known
manufacturer like Crane or Crower and use their tech department.  The
recommendations are almost always milder than you'd guess.  Sometimes less
is more.

So, what's next on the list?  I know you like Q-Jets, but the GM TBI is
pretty good.  Simple, for a FI system and quite tuneable.  I'm always
amazed by the cold weather performance, especially on these frigid
mornings.
