subject: radioact/toxic fertilizer

TM>Seattle----Toxic heavy metals, chemicals and radioactive wastes are being
TM>recycled as fertilizer and spread over farmers' fields nationwide---and
ther
TM>is no federal law requiring that they list the ingredients, The Seattle
Time
TM>reported.
I have one family that I talk to now and then who are in the dairy
business. They report that the "sludge" that the farmers have been
putting on their fields has heavy metals in it. This would make the
area unsafe for children to play in and not at all safe to use for the
production of milk.
This is terrible.
Just what has to happen next before the light dawns that there is some
sort of movement to get rid of as many people as possible? This may be
wholesale ignorance on the part of the elected officials but don't tell
me that all of them are this stupid!
TM> The issue came to light in the central Washington town of Quincy,
TM>population 4,000, when Mayor Patty Martin led and investigation by local
TM>farmers concerned about poor yields and sickly cattle.
Did the article mention any groups that are actively opposing this?
