subject: The `Commodore Power Moni

supplies go wrong

Hello,

I've made a small run of devices I call "Commodore Power Monitors".

The idea is to provide a warning if the external power supply you use
with your VIC-20, C64, C128 or Plus4 fails and begins to damage your
computer, or becomes the cause of instability.

To this end, it monitors the 9VAC and 5VDC lines that power the
computers and warns if the voltage levels indicate failure, or if there
is significant ripple on the 5VDC line. It basically tells you if there
is something seriously wrong with the power going to the computer,
which could be due to a fault either in the power supply or the computer
itself.

Price is $22.00 AUD (Australian Dollars) plus postage, see my website for
postage costs and currency conversion links.

Here's a list of the features:

*Warns if the 5V Logic supply voltage is significantly too high or low
*Warns if significant voltage ripple voltage appears on the 5V Logic Supply
*Warns if the 9VAC voltage is too low
*Conveniently plugs into the User Port on the back of the computer
*Works with C64, C128, Plus4* and VIC-20 (including early models with
 built-in 5VDC regulator)
*Includes a Reset button to easilly reboot the computer without cycling the
 power

Depending on how much interest these get I might make some more in the
future, but for now it's just 20 so it'll pay to get in quick.

Much more information and sales info is available on my website:

I'm also selling these for an increased price on Ebay:
