To make it stand out, of course.  This way it's not easily confused with the
quote, and there's a clear deliniation between the text I'm quoting and my
reason for omitting text.  Or, is this going to be against the rules too?

I really would appreciate it if you'd post the rules.  Or, do I need to wait
until the end of the month/beginning of next month to see what they'll be?
