Weiner is attacking Glenn Beck because Beck is "predicting" all this
doom and gloom, that the whole US economy is going to crash, and people
should buy gold.

And Beck just happens to shill for a company that sells gold.

Back in 1999 Gary North (no relation to Oliver North,) was touting these
"Y2K Bug" dommsday scenarios, especially on the Art Bell radio show.
North also just happened to sell "supplies" like canned goods.
