subject: ..msg Pointers?

SH> For some reason I can't get MSGED to notice my lastread pointers

 SH> missed something? I'm using Maximus 3.01/2 and Msged/2 v4.10. Any help

I had the same problem, though my environment is 16-bit dos. The fix as
suggested by several here was very simple, you might try it first.
In MSGED.CFG, after your Name, add "lastread 0". example:

   ----- MSGED.CFG begins -----
; Msged configuration file

Name "David Bobo" lastread 0
Address 1:112/110{at}fidonet

It works here.
