I didn't see the orig message, but I'm sensing your getting attacked by 
the bots and Murri and script kitties. I run two boards, one SynchroNet,
and the other is GAP. GAP has no built in protection against the bots, 
but I use Pierblock, and it cut my attacks way down. I am very happy 
with the outcome. You have to tweak it, but it only takes a few days to 
cut the attacks down. Out of the box, it does a great job, but after 
tweaking it (adding counties), you will be happy. Hope this helps
