Can this be fixed with having two in parallel ?

Both attached to the Pi and having a device (relays or something) to
see that only one is loaded at a time, and switch every hour or so?
(shutting of loading for both , wait a sec or two, and then turn on
loading for the other one)

     /----- battery ----- Relay I --- Wallwart -- wall
 Pi--
     \----- battery ----- Relay II --- Wallwart -- wall

Pi should control the relays
