Maximus is doing quite well without mex anyway although it would be nice to
have. Maybe have to take a breather on mex??

I have been trying to build Max & Squish on debian 3.0r2 but am getting
an error along the lines of..

/usr/bin/ld can't find -lmax

Any idea how I can fix that? It builds fine on Mandrake but I'd really like
to get it going on Debian if I can.
