Lisa Gano On (25 Jun 96) was overheard to say to Bob Moylan
-> BZZZZZZT! Wrong. Ritalin is not a form of speed. Ask your doctor
-> or the pharmacist who fills the prescription or go to the library and
-> look it up for yourself.
LG> I believe Ritalin is a form of speed, or at least it works that way on
LG> people who do not have ADHD. That's why so many kids are into taking
LG> it these days--kids without ADHD, I mean. They get a high like Cal
LG> described, and for someone who wants to be hyper and does not have
LG> ADHD, it does the trick!
You, of course, are entitled to believe anything that you choose to
believe. Your personal beliefs do not, however, make something that
outrageous a fact. If you are so narrow minded as to not want to
learn a little bit about a topic before you spout off about it you
have my condolances. You seem to have been persuaded by the media,
perhaps the grossly inaccurate Merrow report, or who knows what. My
advice to check with a doctor and/or pharmacist is absolutely sound.
If you choose to disregard it, that's fine with me. Be advised you
have no credibility in this corner of the world.
... If you don't like my opinion of you - improve yourself !
