So, all those years the reason Spock followed a philosphy of logic was
because someone at the Vulcan High Command was keeping an eye on him?

Can't forget the Temporal Cold War!  We can't leave the option of the shiny
red reset button behind, now can we? :(

Exactly how can a temporal war be a cold one? I'm certain that if I were
mucking around with time I'd certainly want to leave it to some group of
stooges like the Suliban.  "Here guys, take my very existence in your
hands."

It's not that I'm against the concept of messing around with time, or
including it in a story, it's just I think the people fighting each other
would be the ones we'd see.
