Duron? I ran across one of those back when they were the new kid on the
block and was highly unimpressed. One of the most flakey cpu's I have ever
seen.

They've made a few turkeys. However I am the same and have only recently
toyed with the idea of trying something different like the more recent arm
based such as raspi3 although I am starting to shy away ... for now.
