Hey, Dudes.  For those who aren't really familiar with Tom:


There isn't one thing that either he (or his skulking counterpart,
Roderick), have ever said about anything - anywhere - which has ever
been noticed by others, or had the slightest consequential effect on
anything.


Those who are looking for doers in the fight for Equal Rights for Men
need to learn to tell the genuine activists from the male feminist
media clowns.

When finally cornered on issues, the jokers invariably come out
shrieking that Men's Rights are evil, that women's rights are good, and
that Men who want their rights are bitter.  The rest of their spiel is
just calculated jocosity.  They play very dirty in general.


Most of them are just unemployed liberals, or corporate-liberals,
who've lost the knack of fitting in as characters who brown-nose and
yes-man their ways through life.  All that they're ever really
interested in is in attracting little followings around themselves for
their hokey personality cults.  Characters like "Angry Harry" are great
at this game.  Characters like Tom and Rod are big zeros.

Intro:

Tom is essentially a feminist troll who engages in communication
jamming of Men's issues, through lying, making up facts, pet
theorizing, soundbiting, and waffling as a moderate - as well as
baiting and switching, and passive-aggressive playing.  You can't get a
dime's worth of intelligent conversation out of the asshole.  In fact,
while the information contained in this profile on him is all based on
claims of his own about himself, it's an auto-reflex response of his to
simply claim that the facts have been made up.  This amounts to simply
one more ruse for keeping the debates clogged up with personality wars,
so that his agenda can go forward.  Like many of these buttholes, he's
an ex liberal and social worker who tries to fool you into believing
he's changed his stripes, and into swallowing the same old shit, via
the above mentioned say-nothing centrism.  In Tom's case, his main
technique is to namedrop, and suggest that he has credentials of some
kind, but he's really just a weaseling old scumbag who got a chance to
impersonate a media activist a bit in the early '90s and who'll now say
anything to anybody, for any self-serving reason.  If there's a
container with the world "Truth" printed on it somewhere in Tom's
House, it's the trash can.



The story:

Careerwise, when Tom was young, he did two to three years in prison
(where, I've heard, he got his ass kicked a lot) for selling drugs.
Later, he reformed himself by becoming some low grade "facilitator" for
autistics.  From that, he now pretends to have been a pioneer in the
field, but other autistics have laughed this to scorn.  According to
him, these days he's living on the street half the time.


Where his great, half-assed awakening to Men's Issues is concerned
today, he claims that he was always so.  I don't doubt that this is
true in the typical under-my-breath, grumbling sort of way that most
men are willing to do it.  But, piecing together his various bullshit
stories, it's obvious that he never was a Men's Advocate, per se, (and
actually still isn't one) until his divorce happened to him.  Tom ran
to Men's Advocacy as a last recourse after he fucked up his life even
more than before.

What plainly happened with Tom was that (at a time when he was busy
playing the typical hypocritical liberal, with the money, the house,
and the career - for whatever brief period he felt that he was on top
of the world) he was stupid enough to ignore the plain realities of
today - which he claims he was always aware of - by starting one of
these pseudo-traditional marriages.  Apparently, to some worthless
bitch with no job.  He wanted to be a redundant male - because playing
hollow roles is easier than playing real ones.  What, predictably,
happened was that the bitch ended up throwing him into the garbage bin
of divorce, because their marriage wasn't based on anything real.  Only
role playing.  Then, she proceeded to enjoy the kind of life she can
have today by fucking other men in his house while he was kicked out.
In Tom's anger, he then discovered Men's Issues, but, because he
discovered it only to the extent that they affected him in his little
world, he has never made it to the status of being an ideologue.


Any basic Men's Advocate would have known that this was a formula for
disaster.  However, Tom is one of these Joe Average fuckers of
mediocrity who don't care, because they coast through life by being
characters who blend into every situation.  They have supreme
confidence in their abilities to play situational politics over
everyone, and to write off truth as being something not "worth"
fighting about.  The parts of their brains that handle principle,
ethics, and honesty are so unused, that once it becomes possible to
interface grey matter with computers, these lying sacks of shit are
going to be able to utilize those parts as external hard drives, with
no other adverse effects.  Of course, hen-pecked assholes like Tom
still don't want to accept the fact that half-way measures are actually
the whole problem.  They prefer the chivalrously popular cop-out of
blaming government, instead of the female perpetrators themselves.
That's why Tom did his "interview" thing, using his social worker
connections, for only a short while before it petered out.

Tom is your basic conforming/collaborating male feminist, who still
hasn't learned that it's over for him and his type.  They're still
trying to cover their complicity by blaming strawmen and scapegoats -
and that includes us Masculinists.  The debates are always evasive,
political, dishonest, and rigged from beginning to end.  These guys are
old school male feminists who are playing the same old two-faced games,
to find their safe niches and shit on the rest of us, that they were
doing back when they were young.

The best thing that you can do to expose them - and, usually, to end it
fast - is to talk about Equality for Men, and about bringing female
perpetrators to justice.  This is as anathema to a male feminist as a
cross is to a vampire, because they're safety is in defending the
women's cause.  The scumbags will then always either immediately go off
topic, or run like the pussies they are...
