If you truly do not grasp why a guy should care so much about this
issue, you are a deeply incompetent judge of human nature. When guys
are victimized in this manner, they are extingushed genetically.
Apparently you think that this should not matter if he also got to
support a child growing up. That the "relationship" can somehow have
the same value despite the symbol that it has become of a total,
utterly ruthless betrayal that closed off his opportunity to have kids
of his own..
    Yeah, the kid is innocent and should not be abandoned but the mom
deserves anything that happens.
     And this is the polite way of saying it.
