Well,  since I don't have web access I'm not likely to come across it,  
unless I can find it on one of the local systems.

Not likely.  I think I went to the batch file approach shortly after I 
started splitting message areas up into a bunch of different directories.  
You know,  that silly DOS thing about not working real well if you have more 
than a couple hundred files in one directory?  Say,  that gives rise to 
another thought,  I don't think I'll have that problem now with HPFS,  will 
I?  :-)
Probably things might just be a bit more manageable with the stuff split up a 
bit,  but...
