Tyson's makes the news more than most on this issue but it is definitely
not limited to Arkansas. I have a long time friend in Michigan and he
says the problem is there also. The vast majority seem to be migrant
workers in his area or domestic workers in individual homes. The
dollars spent educating their children strains the system in some areas.
This is especially true if they must be educated biologically.
I think your right. Arming the boarder is not the answer. Jailing the
company officials who employ these illegal immigrants would be a more
viable solution. Fining them is just a slap on the wrist. Most CEO's
would rather not do hard time down on the farm.
