no, not like that, that i'm aware of... what you've done on AOL is to use
your AOL homepage... you might also have a homepage offered by your ISP if
it is not AOL... my ISP is windstream, used to be alltel, and they offer me
a 5meg homepage space... i've not used it for anything important but i don
have a few things there that no one can get to unless they know the
incantation to go directly to it...

gmail is mail only, like hotmail... you can _store_ your PDF on gmail by
emailing to your gmail account and then leaving it there... that way you
can go to yout gmail account and read that email any time you want and thus
also be able to download the pdf and put it where ever you need to...

JP> Alan Z. has offered me a spot. I think that my daughter
JP> still has her won site {at}parrot.ca. That would be the better
 JP> place for it.

you might also want to look at the homepage sites like lycos and
angelfire... they are hosts for homepages and websites much like gmail and
hostmail are hosts for email... you could possibly also mirror it on alan's
site if he's up for that... i, too, could set something up here since my
web server is sitting right here about 6 feet away... it is a bit faster
now that DSL finally arrived out here 15 miles from town... much much
better than dialup! especially for my servers which have run on dialup
since 1996 (!!) O:)
