Disregard my previous message. You will need to add in some code that will 
require the program to be started as root, but after the ports below 1024 are 
bound it can pass ownership off to a user. This is probably something that 
would be required for unix and linux.

I didn't know it used port 23 (I didn't know DB did telnet) and 80 (for
what may I ask?).
