Hello everyone. I have completed my updates to MSGED/SQ, and
am releasing MSQ304.ZIP to the public. The file is available
for FREQ from 3:711/934 with magic name "MSGED". It contains
an executable for both 16-bit DOS and 32-bit OS/2, plus
complete source code. There have been quite a few bugs
squashed, a few enhancements (such as external editor support).
Also the documentation has been reworked by Bill Grimsley and
is looking much better! It's even got an icon for OS/2!
The 16-bit DOS version was compiled with BC++ 3.1, and there's
not a single warning. The 32-bit version was compiled with
Watcom C++ 10.0a, also with no warnings. I have also compiled
it under EMX 0.9a, CSET++ 2.0 and BCOS2 1.5.
There is no longer any copyrighted source code included in the
package - I have written public domain replacements for it all.
The file is 424605 bytes in size. I am also hatching it into
the PDOMAIN TIC echo, but that will only get it to certain parts
of Australia. And no, I don't have access to an FTP site.
Have fun. Paul.
