 Other than the fact that there is no such tax in this country,
 your comment was pretty well meaningless.

 OTOH, the US debt load, the ratio of national debt to GDP, went
 from aprox 115% after WW2 to about 33% in 1980. The only two
 presidents to increase it from WW2 on are also the only two
 post WW2 presidents to fervently base their administrations on
 tax cuts.

 Esp the only president to cut taxes during a war.
