Green is a primary color of light. You mix blue and yellow
pigments to get green as a paint/ink/crayon/whatever pigment you
 are using.

If you don't believe it, take the back off a color TV. You will
find three pots for setting the colors, red, blue, and green.
You adjust those three colors to get all the rest.

It might have to be an older set, newer ones may have it all
 done electronically. Or are LCDs.
