I guess Edward gave it to Sam without it going through you as it should
have.  When I stopped, I did so by arranging it with Edward and then
officially contacting Rick Lembree by netmail to tell him and advising
Edward to get Rick's permission to do it.

When I quoted from Steve Main's note in comp.os.geos the other day
because I wouldn't cross-post it since I was not authorized any longer
to do so, I mentioned your name as the cross-poster from Internet
because I didn't realize that Sam was the one doing it now although
I was aware from something I read that Edward wasn't going to be it
any more.
Anyway, Chris, FWIW, if Sam has any problems about monitoring
comp.os.geos regularly and you want me to do it whenever he can't,
just let me know.  I wasn't going to read comp.os.geos regularly
again, just dropped in there to see if anything much new was going on
and said "YUK" when I saw the usual negative messages from Helmar in
South Africa about support for the desktop, but I am willing to
download and skim through it every day if you need me to help out
with the cross-posting. Alternatively, so as not to have duplications,
if you want me to be a backup cross-poster by e-mailing or netmailing
to *you* what I think should come in here and letting you upload it
if Sam doesn't cross-post the same item within a few days of my
sending it to you, I will be glad to do that.
