Sony put one out in I think the early eighties.  The review in Audio
magazine seemed interesting but the noise generated (RF type) caused
some FM reception problems.
It's been a long time since I read the review. :-)
Then, of course there were the reviews of Lirpa labs equipment...  What
a hoot...
