But it doesn't answer the phone.  It is a networking type daemon and only
listens in on a specific port, like httpd, ftpd, etc.  Binkleyterm and
mgetty are more along the line of the DOS type stuff.  With binkd you can
poll a node over your ppp connection on the internet.  No dialing involved.

I tried that about six years ago and wasn't successful at it but not for
technical reasons.  Even back then there weren't many people around here
with modems and the few were more intrested in ICQ then BBSing.  Oh well. 
The neighbour's and I little wireless experiment has raised some eyebrows
though.  He wants a point setup though.
