And the people on SG-1 know it too.  I especially liked the part of that
article where they talked about taking sci-fi cliches and playing with

I think your earlier comment of "MORONS" addresses that. But it
may be that Berman is really nothing more than a "company man".
Berman, in my opinion, isn't really a creative kind of person... he's a TV
producer. :)

No need for apologies.  Those two have been responsible for bringing to the
brink of death something that has survived cancellation, bad reviews,
cheezy sets, Shatner's acting, Gene's excesses, and a whole host of other
problems. Trek as it is, can't really survive much longer.  The gas has run
out.  But, as before, it'll come back.  The fans kept it alive in the 70's
when everyone else had given up on it, and the fans will keep it alive
after it finally hits that wall this time.
