Subject: guide dog information wanted
Fellow Federationists and friends,
The guide dog link on the San antonio Chapter Web site is taking shape,
but your help is needed.We would like to receive information about guide
dog training programmes not just here in the United states, but around he
World.  This information could be valuable to someone who must moved to a
country with quarrantine restrictions for animals entering that nation.
Blind persons moving to such places may find it easier, and more humaine
to secure a guide dog from a training facility located in that country.
If you know the urls of web sites of guide dog schools around the World or
would like to send us information aboutgraining facilities we will post it
on our site.
To our knowledge the United states and Canada are the only nations that
have laws protecting the right of a blind person to enter a public place
accompanied by a guide dog.  if such laws exist in other Nations please
send them along for posting on our site or send us the urls of sites whare
this information can be found.
Soon to come the guide dog round-up!!  We'll post details within the next
few weeks.
