Subject: Evolution
RM> SM> Amen Andrew!!! The so called intellectual evolutionists are so
RM> SM> insecure they feel they are the only ones who should be heard and
RM> SM> they are so afraid of the "theory of creationism". It doesn't
RM> SM> surprise me though because most evolutionists are socialists and
RM> SM> we all know the they both fear competition
RM>Evolution is a scientific theory, creation is a theological myth
That it is a theory, I will agree. But when it is taught as factual or true,
I can not accept. And all scientist do not believe in the theory of
evolution. Creation theory if you will is based on biblical knowledge which
is recognized by "believers" as the Word of God, i.e. truth, and supercedes
man's words. Creationism, at least in my mind, has just as much, actually
more, validity as evolution.
RM>intended to support the belief in a deity. Evolution uses physical
RM>evidence, creation uses faith. Evolution makes no attempt to discredit
RM>creation (for creation is based in religious foundation, and is not
RM>scientific), but creation is always after evolution. Want to know why
I must disagree here. True evolution uses physical evidence and but
according to what I've read they too require faith. They have no proof that
man will evolve to something else yet they preach just that, and they say
it'll take a billion or so years so you'll never see it. Now that takes
faith to believe what one does not see. Creation comes before evolution and
all science should, as much as possible line up with scripture.
RM>that is? Because those that really do :*FEAR*: are the creationists,
I don't fear evolution at all for I find they have no evidence that convinces
me that they are right.
RM>they fear the evidence supporting evolution, and they realize that
RM>religion can supply no physical evidence for a divine, all powerful being
RM>that created it all. Creationists should not fear though, science is not
RM>after them. Creation is a belief system that made the mistake in
RM>cloaking itself in the disguise of a science. It is not a science, nor
RM>ever should be (IMO), for it is planted solidly in the belief in a god,
RM>which requires no proof at all, only faith, belief. If one finds it
RM>necessary to search for evidence of creation then one does not have the
RM>required faith, and if there is a god he/she/it would be insulted.
RM>I hope you are not like many of the other theists here that have the
RM>awful habit of betraying their faith with the desire to PROVE that god
RM>exists. Faith, trust, and belief is all God requires of you.
I agree with you. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. I simply
believe in holding forth God's Word and those who chose to believe can do so.
Faith is definitely a big part. To believe scripture requires faith, you
are correct. So for me when scripture says God created man on the sixth day,
it is settled for I accept the bible as being God's will for mankind. To one
who doesn't accept scripture as God's will I also understand why he/she might
think it is foolishness for they have no faith. Just like evolution makes no
sense to me for I have no faith in it. I guess were just different. When I
look at the the stars, and at nature and at a new born baby, all I see is the
beauty of God and his greatness. I see God's handy work. I see patterns and
where ever there is a pattern there has to be a pattern maker. Why is it we
can look at a watch and we recognize that there is an intelligence behind
it,i.e. that made it. Yet we look at plants and animals and man and we think
this just happened by chance, by mistake. The closer you look into all these
areas the more you should be amazed. At least I am, and I see a pattern, and
I see logic. I see some intelligence here, I see God's hand at work. I
suppose we'll never see eye to eye for one, evolution, rejects God and the
other, creationism accepts God.
