I'll go out on a limb here and assume you have a fax/modem:
If so, there is a program called Quiklink Message Center or FaxWorks
that will do the job. Both are data/fax/voice programs and have many
different features. The Quicklink comes with 9 mail boxes and voice
call notification. Both will allow the phone to ring if a voice call
is received and automatically pickup if a fax call is received.
If your using a fax machine there are some that have distinctive ring
capabilities and can be found rather inexpensively at places like Wal-Mart.
If you just need a splitter...Try radio shack. They have a voice/data/fax box
splitter that will do what you ask for around $120.00
Hope this helps
