mn> For a good SCA critique and mystery, try Mary Monica Pulver's _Murder at

For good fandom/mystery/adventure stories that nicely capture the feel of what
fandom and cons are like, try to find _Now You See It/Him/Them_ and _Charles
Fort Never Mentioned Wombats_, by Gene DeWeese and Buck Coulson.
I recently flipped through a copy of _Bimbos_ -- didn't seem any better than
when I read it the first time. The Big Name Folk Singer refers to the congoers
as "Martians" and the filk lyrics as "Martian words", to their faces, and none
of them seem to find this offensive.
