Agreed with both of you.  I find myself 'plotting' out a route that has me
drive as little as possible to what i need.  I go to the Asian Grocery for
example on the way back from my medical appointments at Oceana (on the route
back it's on the correct side of the highway).  BJ's which is only a hair
over 2 miles away, isnt on any direct route but an easy divert on the way
home from work of a mere 2/10 mile if I want to go when tired after work.
