Before a certain woman was walking around the Garden of Eden, got the
munchies, picked an apple and started eating it, shared some of it with her
male friend........there wasn't any `Sabbath' at all!


When I started getting into my teens I began to wonder at something:


God creats this beautiful garden, with perfect weather all year around. He
creates this handsome man, and a gorgeous woman to be his friend and
companion.


He puts all these delicious fruit and nut trees and bushes all over in the
garden for His human couple to eat. They will want for nothing for their
entire existance (eternity!).


Then......God puts this certain tree right in the middle of all this paradise,
and tells the two humans `not' to eat any fruit off that tree!


Thats like putting a couple of children in a large room full of wonderful
toys...telling them they can play with anything they want to....`but! see that
ice cream machine over there? And the stack of cones right there next to the
little lever you hold the cone under to make the ice cream come out and fill
the cone? Well........DON'T GET ANY ICE CREAM CONES AND EAT THEM!


Then go away and leave them for an hour!


If God didn't want anyone eating fruit from that tree.....why (Oh..why?) did
He put that tree in the Garden of Eden in the first place!


He could have put it somewhere it wasn't accessible to His human couple, and
all this trouble and tribulation we live in in this world (if you follow the
line of logic to its obvious conclusion) would not exist!


Neither of His humans would have even seen the tree, much less eat anything
off of it! So....in fact.......man (or `woman' for that matter) isn't
responsible for (echo chamber on) THE FALL OF MAN! (echo chamber off)...God
Himself is!


Unlike most people who follow religions, who have let God (in the form of his
followers, religionists, ministers, bible thumpers....whatever) lay this heavy
guilt trip on them over something that seemingly occured around six or so
thoousand years ago, something they had no control over or input toward; I do
not feel guilty for something that occured back in a day and age I cannot even
trace one of my own ancestors to!


Modern day religion, whatever the flavor, is nothing more than a massive
number of people in most every nation on earth, letting themselves be burdened
with this big guilt trip.


So.....if God wants to have a Sabbath kept, He needs to keep it himself.

*He's* the one who put the tree there in the first place! Laying this heavy
load of guilt on Mankind for all Eternity is only God trying to cover up His
own embarassment by blaming *US* for His own failures!


And I've felt that way about it since I was about 12 or 13 years old.


Modern day Islam has taken the place of ancient and not-so-ancient
Christianity in that it spreads its tenets and repressive laws and customs by
way of violence, murder, terror and threats of death for non-compliance.


Any religion that feels the need to enforce its existence with murder, isn't a
religion at all. Islam tries to portray itself as `the religion of love and
tolerance'. Yet, the alternative to `submitting' to the will and teachings of
an Imam.....is death!


A few hundred years ago......here in America, an accusation of `being a witch'
brought arrest, confessions obtained usually using some pretty horrendous
torture techniques, and burning at the stake!


Today.......in the modern day world....a young couple was just recently
executed because they eloped! And the execution was performed by Islamic
religious fanatics, enforcing *THEIR* notions of Islamic law! This incident
occured just a few days ago!


And not one god-damn fucking individual who rails at people in a lot of these
echoes over their religion...said one single god-damn word of condemnation
over it.


Klahn! (said not a word!)


Danny boy Ceppa! (not one single word)


Otto Sauer! (not a peep!)


Ackley! (airy a sound!)


Religion? Garden of Eden? Mans collective guilt over an apple?


Gimme a fuckin' break!
