Coincidence.  `Switch RealMsgN' is merely a user interface option, it will
absolutely no effect on the "layout" of your messagebase; it
merely toggles between displaying the physical (or "real")
numbers and the logical numbers in the message selection screen and so on. 
So, when viewing in "logical" mode, the first message will always
be displayed as 1.  In "physical" mode the first message may not
necessarily be given the number 1.

In my C_ECHO message base, with `Switch RealMsg On' the first message is
given the number 3562.  The last, 5708.

With `Switch RealMsg Off', the first is 1, the last is 2147.
