Trev,
Forgive me for my lack of understanding, but I need a
clarification on how the new Opus is going to handle modem
connects of over 14.4k. That is, in your explanation you said
something about having the modem report to Opus the locked serial
port speed when this is the case, yet I don't even know if this
is possible with my USR v.Everything let alone how to do it! In
fact, although I am hoping I'm wrong, if indeed I can't tell my
modem to report the serial speed for connects of over 14.4k, I'll
have exactly the same problem with high speed connects with a
vanilla new Opus as I'm having with vanilla 1.73A, will I not?
Thanks for any clarification...
                                        Willie
