You can run the entire thing off CD if you want.  And if you want
it on hard disk, I bet you can strip it down to whatever you want
to match any competitor.  I personally don't bother.  Did you know
that you can get a 1 gig SCSI drive for under $500?

I don't know anything about Symantec.  Borland for DOS is OK
unless you get a bug, since they won't give you a patch.
