Hello Mark, nice talking to you !  

        I will not quote any of your fine post, I dumped it to my
    printer though. I see that maths and calculus interest you too.
    That was my forte in college and even now, I tought myself some
    more trigonometry in regards to navigation, we are all concerned
    with spheres, polar angle, opening and closing too. All this for
    astro-navigation. I still have a sextant, a bubble one and use it
    often to see if the earth is still spinning properly. ;-) Maths
    are facinating to the curious mind.

        A large thank you for your explanation of the 2038 problem.
