Too bad you must compose online. I, and many here, use an
offline mail reader; it allows me to review my comments
one more time before posting them, and on many occasions,
has made evident to even me, some lack in my logic. This
has allowed me to cancel the post until I have a more
coherent response, or insert whatever clarification may
make it useful.
It also has the ability to paste togather posts on a
given point from a collection of such; saves a lotta
typing, and prevents some obvious inconsistancy in
the positions I take.
The whole idea of thread here is a tremendous source
of understanding that I have never seen a book do in
anywheres near an effective way. The dialogues of
Plato come to mind, and I bet he would have loved to
take part in the threads here. Course, maybe he is
here with a different handle.
