You have a point. Coming from my background in statistics, I had assumed
that Eric was familiar with random number generation in general, and merely
wanted help on generating that particular pattern.
To generate the required random numbers, he could use RAND() in Clipper
Tools. A quick look at the Norton Guide for the "public-domain" NanForum
library suggests that NanForum's FT_RAND1(1.0) could also work. It is said
to return "non-integers" - I presume that means Floating Point.
