ok, understandable that this will cause trouble with programs that use '-' as 
the separator for options. you could however change it by creating a few 
batchfiles that copy the file you wan to edit, edit it, and copy back.
e.g.
ep.bat (edit path)
ren -rapath.bat zaza.xxx
e zaza.xxx
ren zaza.xxx -rapath.bat
i think that this would do it in the mean time. I'm not sure if semware will 
fix it (if it's considered a bug :-) -- getopt() like routines tend to be 
somewhat difficult to change sometimes
